We truly hope you are doing well and getting the most out of your website! We are very excited today to be able to send this e-mail as we are announcing some fantastic new services and letting you in on some more additions coming soon.

First of all, we invite you to check out our new website located at www.toydrumhosting.com. From there you will be able to see all of our services and pricing, login to your cPanel, webmail, and billing account, request support, and view up to the minute news on our servers and known network issues. A lot of time has gone into this website and we hope to make a lot more general information available as time progresses. We are aware that there is some minor tweaking that needs to be done, and will be working around the clock until the site is perfected.

Second, and most exciting, is to announce are new Windows based offerings. If you use Microsoft Outlook or have a Blackberry you will want to pay attention to this. Toydrum Hosting, now offers Microsoft Exchange as well as Blackberry Exchange Licenses. Ever been out and wish you had access to a particular e-mail or contact that was on your home computer? With Microsoft Exchange, you Outlook box is synced to a server and accessible anywhere with an internet connection. This includes the synching of your e-mail, contacts, calendar, and task lists! Have a Blackberry? Get the additional BES License and any change you make on your Blackberry will be instantly made in your Microsoft Outlook account. Now for what is coming soon:

·         We will be bringing on an additional part-time sales/support associate late next week to help with support and ticket responses. He will also be contacting each of you to make sure you do not have any questions or issues with your services with us. In the meantime, if you do have outstanding issues or questions, please direct them to Support@toydrumhosting.com.

·         In response to the unexpected downtime that occurred a few weeks ago, we have been looking at many alternatives to minimize downtime and data loss. We have a few solutions we are considering, all of which are costly and may include additional fees for those clients wanting to use them. These services will include:

o   Self – Managed automatic back-ups - the client will be able to setup more backup points and have access to an offsite server to restore from the backups.

o   Redundancy server – if the server that a client is hosting on has a service interruption, another server with identical information will automatically take over the DNS settings for 0 downtime.

·         Toydrum Hosting is working with a software developer to become a reseller of an application suite that will provide secure and flexible software for use on our hosting accounts. Fees will be involved, but the installation and integration will be done by Toydrum Hosting’s Web Development department.

We would lastly like to point out the Toydrum Hosting’s affiliate program. Just for signing up you receive a $5.00 credit on your hosting account and for every successful referral you make to Toydrum Hosting, you receive 10%. back up and running

Since the events that took place one week from today, Toydrum Hosting’s server have been running very smoothly and has squashed incidents. Toydrum Hosting owes special thanks to the developers at Turnkey Web Tools for their prompt support and dedicated excellence. They were able to track down any remaining problems and assist customers in upgrading the shopping carts if it were necessary. All account owners that needed to be upgraded have been contacted and if you were not contacted, your cart was updated prior to this incident. For more information on the latest version of the shopping cart software please visit the provider’s website.

 Because of the recent downtime and few days of lost data, Toydrum Hosting has been evaluating several costly but beneficial alternatives for backing up data constantly and minimizing downtime, even if the server were to crash. More information on this should be coming soon.
